Issues of Concern with the undermining of Coeliac Disease care in Australia and New Zealand, the current Trade Practices Act stipulates that only products with no detectable levels of gluten are permitted to be labelled gluten free.
It has recently come to my attention that the Coeliac Society of Australia has not that long ago asked the ACCC to raise the allowable detection limit of gluten laws for a food to be labelled gluten free in Australia. They plan to change it from ‘no detectable gluten’ (currently <3ppm (parts per million) of gluten) to 20 ppm gluten. This will allow foods with small traces of gluten to be labelled ‘gluten free’ and meet world labelling definitions as up until this time Australia and New Zealand are of few countries with such strict gluten free labelling laws. The Gluten Free/Allergy Free Expo is taking place in Lisle, IL April 29th – May 1st. Jen Cafferty is the founder and director of this event that is the Midwest’s largest gluten-free vendor fair. It’s true! Walmart is now carrying gluten free products in test stores with a roll out across the country to follow. This morning my dream came true. I waited two years to the day and it happened. I walked into Walmart and it has been remodeled with new Gluten Free 12 foot aisle. For those of you near the Bentonville store you will find the items below in grocery aisle 9. Words can not express how excited I am to have a store in our community that can help customers save money so they can live better.
The following are currently on the shelf and it is still getting stocked. All of these listed below are quality gluten free food and you can save around $1.00 buying it at Walmart.

Several stores around the country are getting the gf section. Right now I know one store in Springfield, MO and another is Vineland, NJ. If the store does not have a gf section, the gf food will slowly go throughout the aisles.
