Enjoying Lattes at Home. Gluten-Free of Course.

So foamy…

I LOVE when I find something new that I can add to my diet. Especially when it is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD.

One of the newest additions is the latte.

My wife, Sally, ordered us a Gourmia milk frother a couple months ago. Her work had gotten one a few weeks before and she RAVED about how great it made their lattes.

The Gourmia Frother is a pitcher looking device that plugs into the wall. It has a spinner at the bottom that furiously whips the milk into a thick, dreamy foam. You can set it to hot or cold foam.

I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but Read More »

We’re always on the lookout for products that make life easier. My wife, Sally, just found this McCormick’s Simply Better Beef Gravy at our local Publix supermarket. She found this one on the clearance rack, but it seems to sell online for around $2.59. Here is my review of the ingredients, texture, and taste.

Product Review: So Delicious Dairy Free CocoWhip Is the Tops

So Delicious Dairy Free Coco WhipBack in the day it was impossible to keep a tub of Cool Whip in the house because it was irresistible to me plain (on the end of my finger) or on top of pudding, cake, pie, and ice cream. It wasn’t until later in life that ingredient choices became an issue and my beloved Cool Whip was deemed unsuitable. Tears were shed as a chapter of my life came to a close and desserts were no longer topped until So Delicious Dairy Free introduced CocoWhip.

CocoWhip, available in Original and Light, is made from organic coconut milk, it is naturally sweetened, and contains no artificial sweeteners, flavors, or colors. It is certified gluten free, vegan, and kosher parve, and Non-GMO Verified. CocoWhip ingredients are: Read More »

pilsbury choc chip gluten free

When I was first diagnosed with celiac disease the first thing I thought about missing was chocolate chip cookies. My grammy made the most incredible chocolate chip cookies and the thought of not being able to eat them made me sad, so I began my quest to make gluten-free chocolate chip cookies just like grammy’s, and I didn’t stop until I succeeded. When Pillsbury introduced their chocolate chip cookie dough, I thought there was no way they could be as good as my grammy’s, but I was wrong. Read More »

Kitchen+Table Gluten-Free Pizza Dough

A good gluten-free pizza crust can be hard to find. Sure, there are a variety of options out there these days, but it can be difficult to find a brand that is decently priced but doesn’t taste like cardboard.

I am happy to say that I have found a pizza dough mix that is reasonably priced, not too difficult to make, and tastes wonderful. There is no questioning that kitch+table pizza dough mix will please your palate. As the package states, incredibly easy and so crazy good that you may not believe it’s actually gluten-free. No false advertisement there. That statement is 100% the truth.

I had a kitch+table baking night this past weekend and my taste-buds had the time of their life. The plan was to make the kitch+table pizza dough for dinner and then the brownie mix for dessert. I mixed up the Read More »
