Gluten-Free Product Review: KURDelights by KURSuperfoods

Gluten Free Works Jennifer Harris

KUR SuperfoodsSince I am always on the lookout for a sweet snack that is free of gluten, dairy, and soy, I was happy to receive samples of KURDelights.  So many gluten-free bars/snacks contain soy protein and/or dairy, or they are very high in sugar and carbs and low in protein and fiber, which is not the case with KURDelights.

These bite-sized snacks contain just enough sweetness to satisfy my sweet tooth and they come in three flavors: Brownie, Coconut Cream, and Dark Chocolate Mint.  My favorite flavor is the coconut cream followed by brownie and then dark chocolate mint.  These healthy snacks are:

  • USDA Organic certified
  • Non-GMO verified
  • Gluten-free certified – NFC GlutenGuard – less than 10-ppm gluten (5-ppm gliadin) and similar proteins from rye and barley. This is verified by ongoing laboratory testing that are accepted for gluten testing by analytical associations such as the Association of Analytical Communities (AOAC) and other such agencies.
  • Kosher certified
  • Vegan certified
  • Feingold certified
  • Dairy free
  • All raw ingredients
  • Contain no added sugar or sweeteners

What I like about these snacks is: they are organic, they have very few ingredients, they are raw and easy to digest, they have a great rich flavor, they aren’t devoid of texture by being too soft, their packaging is convenient for travel, I don’t feel guilty eating them because they average 70 calories per serving, and they don’t send me into a sugar coma.

These delightful healthy snacks have just made their way to the U.S., so if you can’t find them on the shelf of your favorite store you can buy them direct from the company.

Have you tried KURDelights?  What did you think?
