Recall: Garden of Eatin’ Tortilla Chips Due to Undeclared Wheat

Prime Choice Foods, maker of Garden of Eatin’ Chips, announced a voluntary recall of certain lots of tortilla chips.  The chips contain undeclared wheat and soy.  Wheat & soy are 2 of the top 8 allergens and may cause severe, life threatening reactions to those who are allergic to them.  The following lots are included:

    Garden of Eatin’® Multi Grain Sea Salt Tortilla Chips (9 oz)

Consumers who have purchased any products covered by this recall are urged to return them to the store of purchase for a full refund.  Consumers with questions or concerns please call 1-800-434-4246, during extended hours from Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm EST and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The chips were distributed nationwide.  Garden of Eatin’ chips are carried in most mainstream grocery stores and specialty grocery stores.
