Kitchen+Table Gluten-Free Pizza Dough

A good gluten-free pizza crust can be hard to find. Sure, there are a variety of options out there these days, but it can be difficult to find a brand that is decently priced but doesn’t taste like cardboard.

I am happy to say that I have found a pizza dough mix that is reasonably priced, not too difficult to make, and tastes wonderful. There is no questioning that kitch+table pizza dough mix will please your palate. As the package states, incredibly easy and so crazy good that you may not believe it’s actually gluten-free. No false advertisement there. That statement is 100% the truth.

I had a kitch+table baking night this past weekend and my taste-buds had the time of their life. The plan was to make the kitch+table pizza dough for dinner and then the brownie mix for dessert. I mixed up the Read More »

New Gluten-Free Product Review: Jovial Authentic Gourmet Italian Rice Pasta

When Jovial Foods, Inc. offered us samples of their brand new gluten-free pasta they claimed had the taste and texture of authentic pasta, we looked forward to the opportunity to judge for ourselves.

We were pleasantly surprised.  This is an excellent pasta, virtually indistinguishable from regular pasta in flavor, color, shape and consistency.

We received five different varieties: Spaghetti, Penne Rigate, Fusilli, Capellini and Caserecce.

All the pastas come in Read More »

No More Gluten-free Hamburger Helper

Gluten Free Works Jennifer Harris

Hamburger Helper is No Longer Gluten-free!!

It has been a little over a year since General Mills launched gluten-free Hamburger Helper and already it has been changed.

Hamburger Helper will no longer be gluten free because it is going to be processed in a different manufacturing facility that cannot be guaranteed to be free from cross contamination.  The newly processed Hamburger Helper will not have the ‘gluten free’ label, but will be labeled “may contain wheat”.

I never tried any of the varieties of gluten-free Hamburger Helper because the flavor options weren’t all that interesting to me, they were loaded with salt and it is frankly Read More »
