Since I received the world’s greatest fettuccine noodles in the mail (thank you Cappello’s Gluten-Free), I was determined to make nothing but the classiest sauce to go with them. But, the problem is…I’m not a classy cook. I’m a “that’s too many steps, I’ll probably mess something up” type of cook, which is why this recipe for Pesto Cream Sauce screamed, “I’M YOUR PERFECT MATCH!” during the search my mother and I conducted.
Are you ready to rock your taste-buds’ world? If you answered that question with a big fat “YES” then I have the recipe for you!
First step, make sure you have some gluten-free gnocchi on hand. Whether you make it yourself, or buy it premade, either will work. I used Cappello’s fresh gluten-free gnocchi for this dish.
Second step – make sure you have the rest of the ingredients for this amazeballs dish (literally, it’s amazeballs because it has two types of balls in it – gnocchi and chicken sausage meatballs).

Every year at Christmas time I visit my mom in Arizona to enjoy some wholesome family time. The weather is wonderful at that time of year and it is a nice escape from the daily grind. Visiting Arizona also means a trip to Sprouts Farmers Market and the Gluten Free Country Store to scope out gluten-free products not yet available on the East coast.

When . offered us samples of their brand new gluten-free pasta they claimed had the taste and texture of authentic pasta, we looked forward to the opportunity to judge for ourselves.
We were pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent pasta, virtually indistinguishable from regular pasta in flavor, color, shape and consistency.
