Pure Base is recalling the garlic spread – ready to spread & garlic spread  – concentrate because they may contain undeclared wheat & milk.   Both were distributed nationwide online & in stores.

Recall: Zatarain’s Original Dirty Rice Mix Due to Undeclared Wheat – UPDATE ZATARAIN’S RESOLVED THE ISSUE

Zatarain’s has announced a voluntary recall of Zatarain’s Original Dirty Rice Mix, 8 oz. package with UPC Code 7142909535 and a “BEST BY” date of JAN 19 12H. Zatarain’s Original Dirty Rice Mix packages with this date code contain undeclared wheat and barley ingredients. People who have allergies to wheat or barley run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.

Gluten Free Naturals Voluntarily Recalls Mixes

This press release comes directly from the FDA website. Gluten Free Naturals is a company out of New Jersey, with wide spread distribution. Nothing is known about how many Kansas City residents may be affected. What can be known is that Gluten Free Naturals has shown good company standards by voluntarily issuing a recall as soon as they realized they had a problem with a supplier :)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – North Canton, OH. – December 29, 2009 – Harry London today announced it is voluntarily recalling 3310 individual units of the 4.62 ounce Harry London Chocolate Pecan Caramel Stars because they have not been labeled to include Wheat, FD&C colors Yellow #5, Red # 40 and Blue #1 as an ingredient. All Harry London Chocolate Pecan Caramel Stars sold after 28 December 2009 have the correct labeling.

College_InnDecember 4, 2009 – PITTSBURGH – As a precautionary measure, due to mislabeling, College Inn is initiating a voluntary recall of College Inn® No MSG Chicken Broth sold in individual 14 ½ oz cans.

All other sizes and varieties of College Inn® Chicken Broth are correctly labeled and therefore are not affected by this voluntary recall.

Recall for undeclared wheat – Snacks on Racks, Inc

There has been a recall for undeclared wheat, among other allergens, in products made by Snacks on Racks, Inc of Parkville, Missouri. The Snack Packs are not sold to convenient stores, gas stations, grocery or mass market retailers. They are distributed through food service establishments at hospitals, colleges, universities and corporate cafeterias and kiosks.
