A metabolic bone disorder characterized by diminished bone mass (density) with retention of normal cell appearance, but fragile strength, and high bone turnover caused by deficiency of calcium and vitamin D in particular and other micronutrients that include:  copper, magnesium, manganese, vitamin K, zinc, boron, and iron. Click for full description.
