We actually made this recipe for the first time a couple of weeks ago, but it was late in the day and we lacked the necessary natural light to photograph it. This recipe intrigued us, since pita bread is not easily converted to gluten free, and admittedly, we have yet to make just pita bread using this recipe. Before singling out the pita bread, we wanted to just explore this dough for the pizza itself, and if it turned out to be successful, develop it further for really good gluten free Read More »

I need a wok. Seriously. With the amount of Asian food that I make it amazes me that I do not own one. Someday.
My dad however has one, so we put it to use one night and made some gluten-free beef and broccoli. My dad is awesome for many reasons, but I love how good he is about gluten-free awareness and Read More »

It’s been a hot summer these past few days in NY. When the heat is beaming, one of my favorite kinds of meals to enjoy is fish on the grill because it doesn’t leave me feeling heavy.
To me, summer is all about enjoying fresh ingredients. Fruit and veggies are at their prime and I always look forward to the first long island corn on the cob. I think my family would honestly be happy eating watermelon every night for dinner; this being a summer tradition I also love.
Regardless of the season, I truly believe in trying to eat clean. My body is living proof that you are what you eat, and with my active lifestyle I believe Read More »
WHY HAVEN’T I EVER THOUGHT TO DO THIS BEFORE?
I made a version of their recipe that is somewhat healthier using ground turkey instead of beef, plus this nifty recipe for Tomato Chutney.

The second entry into the 37 Cooks and Sciabica Olive Oil challenge is a crust-less and veggie filled quiche. This can easily be made in a large baking dish, pie dish, or individual ramekins. Quiche is another one of those “blank canvases” that I love because you can add any ingredient that you want. Quiche is perfect for Read More »
