New Gluten-Free Support Groups in the Southeast

Gluten Free Works Jennifer Harris

I just learned about two new support groups for those on the gluten-free diet in Statesville, NC and Tri Cities/Johnson City, TN. The two new groups are:

Certified Gluten Free

Certified Gluten Free

  • Gluten-Free Tri Cities is run by Mary Lou Wilson and it is for those who live in Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol. They have already had two meetings, so get in touch if you live in the area.

In my opinion, running a support group is a lot of work and it required a great group of dedicated volunteers to put meetings/events together. These support groups were formed to offer support and information for those who are following the gluten-free diet and to offer support to their family members/significant others. Consider volunteering your time to help get these groups up and running.

Do you live in either of these areas? Would you join a support group?
