By the title of this post, I am sure many of you are probably wondering what I have in store for you today, but trust me, it’s a good little invention on my part!

Lately I am trying to limit my consumption of gluten-free bread products; not with the intention to lose weight, but rather I have realized that I feel better when I keep it to a limit. However, being someone who is always at the gym I need carbs in my diet to reenergize.
The other day I really want a PB & J sandwich. My only problem was I didn’t (more…)

I have dubbed this my no-oat granola. I missed that detail when I first started adapting this recipe and was sure Better Homes and Gardens had forgotten to list the oats in the ingredient list. Alas, it was intentional and I’m loving it! This granola with a little homemade almond milk is my new go-to breakfast, snack, and occasional dinner.

(My monster fudgesicle – gluten and dairy free! Happy Summer)
I’m always up for making things at home (beef jerky, granola bars, ice tea, etc.). I know there is convenience in buying many of these things, but I rather enjoy making things at home. One it’s a challenge for me, two I know exactly what is going into my food. I love making gallons of ice tea at home because I can control the amount of sugar (or honey, or agave) that goes into my tea. It is truly amazing how much can be found in a gallon of store-bought ice tea.
We don’t buy much ice cream at the store and I don’t ever make it only because I do not have an ice cream maker. Oh, how I wish I had one. Instead I make pops. We bought two packages of Monster Popsicle Molds (I found mine at Marshall’s/T.J. Maxx) which can be purchased from (more…)

Bean bakes are the best thing to come my way, foodwise, since I learned that I was not only lactose intolerant and needed to diet but also gluten-sensitive. Seriously.
I’ve now made three versions:
The taste of each isn’t like anything I’ve had before, but is delicious and (more…)

I LOVED trying a bunch of awesome Surf Sweets products that I won from a Stuffed Pepper twitter giveaway!
Admittedly, I have not been able to try all the products that they sent (there are a lot!) but I had so much fun trying what I have so far. I probably never would have sought out these products on my own. I could give or take most candy (chocolate is another story…) but now I know just where to turn for something sweet or sour!

This is the entire package I got in the mail. The individual packs are bigger and have multiple servings. The boxes contain smaller packs and are a single serving (I prefer this because it’s easier to control portion size.) When I was
eating the sour gummy worms out of the bigger bag, I definitely (more…)
