July 5th, 2013 by CC Bonaduce

Gluten free, great-tasting yet filling snacks can be hard to come by. Luckily, KIND Healthy Snacks offers fruit and nut bars that hit the spot every time.  When you are living gluten free, being hungry is a common and frequent concern.  If you miss lunch at the office, you can’t exactly ask around to see if anyone has anything in the office for you to snack on because chances are it wont be gluten free! There are a thousand other scenarios where being hungry yet out of reach of anything GF can come up; KIND Bars may be your answer!

Here are 5 great things to do with KIND Bars:

1. Put a few bars in your desk drawer

There is nothing worse than that creeping feeling of hunger that sometimes strikes at around 4:00pm. You have to stay at the office for at least two more hours but your stomach just isn’t having it. If you have a store of KIND Bars you can easily snack on one of these nutritious and filing bars while you finish out the day.

Kitchen+Table Gluten-Free Pizza Dough

April 28th, 2013 by Laura Hanley

A good gluten-free pizza crust can be hard to find. Sure, there are a variety of options out there these days, but it can be difficult to find a brand that is decently priced but doesn’t taste like cardboard.

I am happy to say that I have found a pizza dough mix that is reasonably priced, not too difficult to make, and tastes wonderful. There is no questioning that kitch+table pizza dough mix will please your palate. As the package states, incredibly easy and so crazy good that you may not believe it’s actually gluten-free. No false advertisement there. That statement is 100% the truth.

I had a kitch+table baking night this past weekend and my taste-buds had the time of their life. The plan was to make the kitch+table pizza dough for dinner and then the brownie mix for dessert. I mixed up the (more…)

Top Gluten-Free Picks from Expo West 2013

April 10th, 2013 by Jennifer Harris

daiya-expo-west-2013There was definitely a lot to take in at Expo West in Anaheim, CA. This year’s event saw record attendance of 63,000 industry members and 2,428 exhibiting companies. Needless to say, that is a lot of ground to cover in three days, but I did my best.

I thought this year I would let you know about my favorite products found at the event, and then follow up with a more thorough article of all of the notable gluten-free products. Here are my top gluten-free picks in alphabetical order: (more…)

I really thought it was a joke when I heard about Luce’s Gluten-Free Artisan Bread mixes. I mean how could a bread mix that doesn’t require you to activate yeast, or let it proof really work? To produce an artisan loaf of bread, all you add is water, then stir, and bake, which sounds way too simple to actually work. I don’t know how they did it, but this mix produces gluten-free bread with a crispy crust and a soft, moist middle that is quite easy to make.

I was not able to go to Expo East this year, so I have been researching blogs and tweets to see what gluten-free products got some buzz. After researching, I didn’t find a whole lot of new products that weren’t introduced earlier in the year at Expo West (sister show in California), but there were some interesting ones. (more…)
