Girl Scout Cookies…

For decades, the Girl Scouts of America has maintained a tradition of selling cookies as their annual fundraising drive. For a few months during the year, Girl Scouts across the country can be found manning tables in front of churches, supermarkets and town halls, surrounded by boxes of wonderful cookies.

Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs. Do-di-dos, Lemonades and…Thin Mints…

So delicious. *Happy face*

So full of gluten. *Sad face*

Since the temperatures are finally inching their way up, it is time to start thinking about picnic season.  Everyone loves a picnic, right?  I remember going on picnics on Sundays after church when I was little and we lived in Texas. I am not sure if it was one picnic or many to that specific park, but I remember my mom packing fried chicken.

Gluten-Free Quinoa & Pumpkin Seed Granola Recipe

I have dubbed this my no-oat granola. I missed that detail when I first started adapting this recipe and was sure Better Homes and Gardens had forgotten to list the oats in the ingredient list. Alas, it was intentional and I’m loving it! This granola with a little homemade almond milk is my new go-to breakfast, snack, and occasional dinner.
