Isaiah Mustafa, the actor build best known for his impressive build, good humor and over-the-top bravado in the Emmy-nominated Old Spice commercials, recently revealed the diet he follows to achieve his chiseled physique on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
According to Mustafa, celebrity trainer Tony Horton has him on a diet that contains no alcohol, caffeine, processed sugar, animal products or gluten. Horton is the producer of the wildly popular workout videos, P90X.

When were you first diagnosed with celiac and what was your reaction to the news?
About 10 years ago. I have not been formally diagnosed as celiac but through a process of elimination discovered that I was definitely allergic to gluten. I did research into what gluten allergies were and what I could and couldn’t eat as a result. (more…)

I had the pleasure to sit down with the Nature’s Path Foods’ VP of Marketing & Product Innovation, Arjan Stephens.
Nature’s Path is a family run organic-based company founded in 1985 by Arran and Ratana Stephens in British Columbia, Canada. Since then, the Stephens family has expanded as well as the Nature Path’s family of foods.
In 1989, Nature’s Path introduced their first gluten-free cereal, gluten-free corn flakes, when gluten-free was a virtually unknown term to most people. They developed the EnviroKidz brand in 2000, which is completely gluten-free and focuses on children’s cereals, cookies, waffles and cereal bars.
