This Examiner has been eating and enjoying Jones Dairy Farm meat products for a number of years, so when I was asked to review their products it was a no brainer.
Jones Dairy Farm is a 122-year-old family owned business based in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, that makes all natural pork and turkey sausage as well as Canadian bacon, ham, liverwurst, bacon and other pork products. The majority of their products (except scrapple) are certified gluten free by the GFCO.
The best part is their products taste wonderful and they don't contain any nitrates/nitrites, fillers, MSG, or anything artificial. It is nice to be able to eat a meat product that is just meat and know that it is safe for those on the gluten-free diet. We love their turkey sausage and eat it most mornings. I use their ground pork to make my famous Pork Sausage Casserole.
This review afforded me the opportunity to try their Canadian bacon slices and ham slices too, which are bursting with flavor and they are low in salt and fat. Unfortunately not all local grocery stores carry their full line of gluten-free products, so I didn't get to try their whole hams.
The next time you are in the grocery store pick up a package of Jones Dairy Farm products and see what you think. This company is dedicated to providing a quality product to the gluten-free community. They may cost a little more, but you get what you pay for these days!
