If this product had existed when I was a kid, I would probably be a healthier person today! For all you parents out there who have kids that love the “usual” gelatin snack product, but cringe when you think about the ingredients, fear no more.

cool_cups_orangeYou now have vegan Cool Cups. Cool Cups come in several flavors. At the Whole Foods near my house, I bought the orange, black cherry and peach mango.

They taste really good, not too sweet, and have a consistency that is a little denser than the gelatin we are all used to, but I don’t view that as a negative. Cool Cups are fat-free, gluten-free, vegan, free of preservatives and artificial colors. I really like them, and I think your kids will , too. Yes, they do have sugar, but they are only 92 calories per serving and zero fat. The big selling point for me is the fact that there are no animal products. So look for Cool Cups at your Whole Foods and let your kids be the judge!
