gf_toaster_pizzaThere are times when you are on a gluten free diet, that you just crave pizza. Luckily in today's times, we have access to many gluten free ingredients, like gluten free pizza crust. You can always make your own crust, pre-bake them, and freeze them after they are cool.

Once you have the pizza crust done, you can have a delicious, crispy crust pizza in about 10 minutes. It's all about the method:

1. Make sure your ingredients are gluten free like your shredded cheese and tomato sauce. You can always shred your own or make your own tomato sauce.

2. Hold the cheese, please. Well, just at first. Top the crust with sauce and cook this first. If you add the cheese, it will be brown before the crust is done. You can cook it either in the toaster oven or the oven. What's important is that the crust is cooked directly on the rack to ensure it gets direct heat. For the toaster oven, cook on Toast mode for about 3 1/2 minutes. In the oven, bake at 425ºF for 5 minutes. The crust should be defrosted and lightly browned.

3. Add the cheese and toppings. Once the crust is mostly thawed and a little brown, remove it from the oven and add cheese as well as any other toppings. Place it back in the toaster oven or regular oven and continue to cook until desired crispness or browning is reached. This should take 5-6 minutes in the toaster or about 7-10 minutes in the oven.

4. Let it rest. Your pizza will feel like hot lava if you try to bite into it when it comes out of the oven. Let it rest about 2-3 minutes before serving, especially when serving to children.
